    Mobile Banking is a wireless internet-based service that allows you to do your banking safely and conveniently. With Mobile Banking, you can view your account balances, look up transactions, pay your bills, transfer funds, and locate the nearest ATM or banking center.

    Mobile Banking is a free service for all Bank of America customers enrolled in Online Banking. You will need to contact your cell phone carrier for any charges that may apply to web browser usage on your cell phone.

    How do I know if my phone is supported by Bank of America?

    Before trying to access Mobile Banking, check the Supported Devices tab to see if your cell phone is supported.

    What services can I use if my phone is not on the list of devices?

    Any phone with a web browser can be used to locate a Bank of America ATM or banking center. Wireless alerts of account activity are available on all phones that allow text messaging. Check with your carrier for text messaging charges.

    How do I access Mobile Banking?

    Using Mobile Banking is easy. Just visit www.bofa.mobi on your phone's web browser. When prompted, enter your Online ID, then verify your SiteKey and enter your Passcode just as you would in Online Banking.

    The first time you sign in, you will be prompted to answer one of your challenge questions. After you sign in successfully, you can select the actions you want to perform from the main menu.

    Add www.bofa.mobi to your favorites list on your phone’s web browser to save time on future visits, just as you would on your computer.

    How do I view my account balances in Mobile Banking?

    After you sign in successfully, the main menu screen will appear. Select the Accounts option. The next screen will show your accounts and balances.

    How do I view account details and transactions in Mobile Banking?

    After you sign in successfully, the main menu screen will appear. Select the Accounts option. The next screen, the Accounts screen, will show your accounts and balances. From the Accounts Overview screen, select the account that you would like to review. On the following screen, you can choose to view pending or cleared transactions.

    How do I make a payment in Mobile Banking?

    To access your list of payees in Mobile Banking, you must first activate the Bill Pay service within Online Banking from a computer. Once you have activated Bill Pay, you will need to set up your payees. After doing this, your information will be accessible after you sign in to Mobile Banking and select the Bill Pay & e-Bills option from the main menu. Please note, that due to space limitations, payee names and information may appear truncated on your cell phone.

    How do I transfer funds in Mobile Banking?

    To transfer funds on your phone, you will first need to set up all transfer payee information within Online Banking. To transfer funds within Mobile Banking, sign in and select the Transfer Funds option from the Accounts Overview screen. You will be able to make immediate transfers between your already linked Bank of America accounts and other Bank of America customers.

    Please note: We do not currently offer funds transfers outside of Bank of America through Mobile Banking. However, you can make this type of transaction from Online Banking.

    How do I find a Bank of America ATM or banking center in Mobile Banking?

    To locate a Bank of America ATM or banking center from Mobile Banking, access Mobile Banking and select the ATM/banking center locator from the main menu. You will be asked to select either an ATM or a banking center. After you have made your selection, you will be prompted to enter the street address or zip code nearest to you.

    What happens if I forget my Online ID, Passcode, or SiteKey?

    If you happen to forget your Online ID, Passcode, or SiteKey information, please visit www.bankofamerica.com from a computer to retrieve your information.

    How do I know that my Mobile Banking transactions are secure?

    Mobile Banking certifies all devices before adding them to the list of supported devices to ensure that all transactions are fully encrypted and secure. To use Mobile Banking, you will be required to sign in the same way you would with Online Banking, with SiteKey as an extra layer of security. Additionally, we do not allow your Passcode or any account information to be stored on your cell phone.
